Ersan İbrahimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Kutulmuş in the 12th minute of the match. GAZİŞEHİR FK's Ersan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Kutulmuş in the 14th minute of play. Arif Bilge Kınay made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mehmet Şefik Oskan sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Onur Kutulmuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Onur Kutulmuş notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GAZİŞEHİR FK's Ersan İbrahimoğlu. Ersan İbrahimoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arif Bilge Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Şefik Oskan in the 35th minute of the match. Arif Bilge Kınay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Lukaku, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. GAZİŞEHİR FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Lukaku in the 38th minute. Sefa Necdet charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sefa Necdet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gocmar FK's Sefa Necdet got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Gocmar FK's Arif Bilge Kınay got control of the ball when Sungurhan Aydın tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, İsa Akyüz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ersan İbrahimoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Michel Lukaku got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arif Bilge Kınay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Onur Kutulmuş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sungurhan Aydın's late challenge caught a Gocmar FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sungurhan Aydın helped the player get up and apologised. Sungurhan Aydın kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of GAZİŞEHİR FK booed when Gocmar FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sefa Necdet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see GAZİŞEHİR FK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
