Sarp İlican's late challenge caught a AFRASİYAB FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sarp İlican helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Yaglidere SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarp İlican to maneuver through the defense. After 12 minutes of play, AFRASİYAB FC's Ecevit Taran made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanju Özgun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tanju Özgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enes Ünal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Oğuzkan Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yaglidere SK! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for AFRASİYAB FC. Dávid Petrovický stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tanju Özgun. 0-4. The supporters of Yaglidere SK booed when AFRASİYAB FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enes Ünal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Yaglidere SK defense, Coşkun Kırca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanju Özgun. The Yaglidere SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanju Özgun should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Enes Ünal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Özgun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haşmet Kırgız kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Oğuzkan Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFRASİYAB FC's Sultan Ahmed got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute Haşmet Kırgız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşat Özsungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sarp İlican in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reşat Özsungur saved AFRASİYAB FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as AFRASİYAB FC's Sultan Ahmed slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tanju Özgun. That made the score 1-6 after 59 minutes of play. Tanju Özgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan Ahmed in the 62nd minute of play. During the 63rd minute of the match Sarp İlican completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sarp İlican a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th minute, Sarp İlican hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play, AFRASİYAB FC's Enes Ünal made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanju Özgun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, AFRASİYAB FC's Sultan Ahmed nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tanju Özgun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. In the 75th minute, Sultan Ahmed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFRASİYAB FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. Reşat Özsungur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Doğangün, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 87 minutes of play, AFRASİYAB FC's Brian Ström made it 1-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanju Özgun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sultan Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Özgun having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Sultan Ahmed took a quick shot and it went in 1-12 without a chance for Tanju Özgun to make any attempt to save it. In the 95th minute, AFRASİYAB FC's Sultan Ahmed dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-13. AFRASİYAB FC played a much better game than Yaglidere SK and deserved their victory. The Yaglidere SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
