With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garip Yura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garip Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamit Acabay, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Şener Soytekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26th play minutes Menderes Tuğaltan shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Dursun Dikmen and just under the crossbar into goal. Boğaç Akçakıl hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Akköy JK's Menderes Tuğaltan got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Dursun Dikmen managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Akköy JK's Menderes Tuğaltan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 46 minutes, Bektaş Veli Okaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akköy JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bektaş Veli Okaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Menderes Tuğaltan made a kick off. If Hüsmen Tanbolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Şahmat Donetsk's Hamit Acabay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garip Yura. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. Akköy JK's Ömer Rıza Sabeddin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by İsmail Hakkı Makbul, made in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Üzeyir Cingöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Şahmat Donetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Bektaş Veli Okaner came free, but Dursun Dikmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Hamit Acabay sped through Akköy JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Garip Yura. In the 83rd minute Bektaş Veli Okaner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Dikmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şener Soytekin got free with Garip Yura in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garip Yura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamit Acabay went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Akköy JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Şahmat Donetsk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
