Mamma Li Turchi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 46th minute, Gregorio Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bahadır Tezkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After some careless play in the Mamma Li Turchi defense, Albert Boelens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahadır Tezkan. Bahadır Tezkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Regimantas Šileikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, tatangalar's Doğaner Çokay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bahadır Tezkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. With a little luck, tatangalar's Haşmet Özerk got control of the ball when Yavuz Selim Kocaman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bahadır Tezkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doğaner Çokay's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. tatangalar had won after a very even match.
