The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes FENERBAHÇE SK got a freekick which was hit by Semavi Beysun. In the 9th match minute, FENERBAHÇE SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 鲁笑真 to maneuver through the defense. Rüknettin Gencay hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Selman Tanyolaç came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ's Ali Galip Özaltay. But to his dismay, Ali Galip Özaltay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Titan Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güralp Acarer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ's Alf Odman got a free kick in the 17th minute. Suphi Acemoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Iacob Chira took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selman Tanyolaç. Selman Tanyolaç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 30th minute, Ali Galip Özaltay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sorin Hortopan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Selman Tanyolaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Hortopan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Ali Galip Özaltay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Titan Palermo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Güralp Acarer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE SK. 鲁笑真 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Güralp Acarer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Titan Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güralp Acarer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sorin Hortopan to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sorin Hortopan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selman Tanyolaç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FENERBAHÇE SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Talat Özbilen took the corner. After taking down the ball on ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ's corner Talat Özbilen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Selman Tanyolaç quite easily take care of the ball. Selman Tanyolaç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sorin Hortopan's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Sorin Hortopan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selman Tanyolaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Ali Galip Özaltay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Selman Tanyolaç. The goal made the score 2-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Talip Arslanşah during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes FENERBAHÇE SK got a freekick which was hit by Talip Arslanşah. In the 77th minute ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ were awarded a corner. Talat Özbilen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FENERBAHÇE SK's goalie and right to Iacob Chira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FENERBAHÇE SK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Galip Özaltay got free with Selman Tanyolaç in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Sorin Hortopan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Selman Tanyolaç. That made the score 2-6 in the 84 minute of play. After 87 minutes, Tomas Blasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENERBAHÇE SK and the ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Selman Tanyolaç was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Talat Özbilen. If Talip Arslanşah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over ABİDİNPAŞA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FENERBAHÇE SK throughout the match.
