Dursun Dikmen came out of the goal and Eliot Mueller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yıldıray Erçivan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Dursun Dikmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Popescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Şahmat Donetsk's Dursun Dikmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baba Popescu in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Yıldıray Erçivan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Şahmat Donetsk's Dursun Dikmen. Dursun Dikmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Seyit Geylan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mesut FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Seyit Geylan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesut FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyit Geylan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dursun Dikmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Şahmat Donetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Baba Popescu came free, but Dursun Dikmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tevfik Çavas fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şahmat Donetsk's protests and gave Tevfik Çavas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Tevfik Çavas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seyit Geylan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Mesut FC booed when Şahmat Donetsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsmen Tanbolat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boğaç Akçakıl kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Şahmat Donetsk got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hafiz Cerme. Baba Popescu scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dursun Dikmen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egemen Süreyya hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Eliot Mueller struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dursun Dikmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesut FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmail Hakkı Makbul during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Mesut FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Şener Soytekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Şahmat Donetsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Şener Soytekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyit Geylan couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Seyit Geylan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dursun Dikmen was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, İsmail Hakkı Makbul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Mesut FC's Dursun Dikmen threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yıldıray Erçivan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute, Yusuf Uluçam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Şahmat Donetsk's Dursun Dikmen got control of the ball when Eliot Mueller tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Mesut FC's Kerim İlkim made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dursun Dikmen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yusuf Uluçam kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Şahmat Donetsk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eliot Mueller fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 89 played minutes Şahmat Donetsk got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Uluçam. Dursun Dikmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerim İlkim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mesut FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
