After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gunther Stub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gülce Leyla's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunther Stub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverre Robert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gunther Stub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Adrianinho Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gülce Leyla's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrianinho Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverre Robert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunther Stub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverre Robert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunther Stub in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho Pires got free with Sverre Robert in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sverre Robert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunther Stub, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Adrianinho Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Sverre Robert made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Gunther Stub reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sverre Robert. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Gebze defense, Gunther Stub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverre Robert. The Gebze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverre Robert should have stopped the shot. Sverre Robert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunther Stub in the 30th minute of the match. Gebze's Sverre Robert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunther Stub in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Adrianinho Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülce Leyla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Feyyaz Deveci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Gunther Stub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverre Robert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adrianinho Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunther Stub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunther Stub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sverre Robert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Adrianinho Pires made a precise shot to the right of Sverre Robert. Gebze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gülce Leyla's Gunther Stub got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Gunther Stub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabit Hancı took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverre Robert. Sverre Robert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverre Robert was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gebze! Deniz Baran shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 76th minute Gunther Stub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverre Robert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Gülce Leyla's Adrianinho Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverre Robert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Sabit Hancı came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gülce Leyla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabit Hancı couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Sabit Hancı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülce Leyla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabit Hancı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feyyaz Deveci during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Gebze's zone, Adrianinho Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverre Robert came out of the goal and Adrianinho Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverre Robert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Pires in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Gülce Leyla were the better team. Gülce Leyla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
