Gündüz Erdoğan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Burgnich's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Burgnich in the 9th minute of play forced Cubuk SK's goalkeeper Gündüz Erdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of İstanbul Futbol Kulübü booed when Cubuk SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fevzi Ülkümen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meriç Bakırcı kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's Vinicio Millan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gündüz Erdoğan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's Anselmo Burgnich made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gündüz Erdoğan was left in no man's land by his defense there! İsmail Hakkı Malgır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Erdoğan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, İsmail Hakkı Malgır managed to get in a good position for a shot. İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Hakkı Malgır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gündüz Erdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Anselmo Burgnich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gündüz Erdoğan. Cubuk SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Burgnich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gündüz Erdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Hakkı Malgır, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Anselmo Burgnich made the kick off in the second half. Ion Alungulesei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit User in the 53rd minute of the match. Anselmo Burgnich struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gündüz Erdoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for İstanbul Futbol Kulübü. A collision led to İstanbul Futbol Kulübü getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cevahir Ceberut hit a great ball. Anselmo Burgnich took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gündüz Erdoğan. Gündüz Erdoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Gündüz Erdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Hakkı Malgır, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Anselmo Burgnich was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. İsmail Hakkı Malgır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Erdoğan having to interfere. In the 71st minute, İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's Anselmo Burgnich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 79th minute, Mehmet Emre Gümüşcü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gündüz Erdoğan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Burgnich went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. İsmail Hakkı Malgır had several of the Cubuk SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Gündüz Erdoğan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gündüz Erdoğan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Burgnich showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 86 minute of play. After some careless play in the Cubuk SK defense, Vinicio Millan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gündüz Erdoğan. The Cubuk SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gündüz Erdoğan should have stopped the shot. Müfit User received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ion Alungulesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cubuk SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. İstanbul Futbol Kulübü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
