After having played for 15 minutes, Adrianinho Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülce Leyla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Burgnich in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Gunther Stub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülce Leyla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunther Stub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anselmo Burgnich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Gülce Leyla got a freekick which was hit by Serkan Dervişoğlu. Ion Alungulesei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrianinho Pires's shot from short distance in the 38th minute.

In the 51st minute, Adrianinho Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ion Alungulesei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 54th match minute, İstanbul Futbol Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Burgnich to maneuver through the defense. Ion Alungulesei came out and tried to block the shot, but Serkan Dervişoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. Müjdat Tümer charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Müjdat Tümer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of İstanbul Futbol Kulübü:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gülce Leyla:s goal. Ion Alungulesei didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Ion Alungulesei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunther Stubs short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Ion Alungulesei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gunther Stub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ion Alungulesei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Gülce Leyla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
