Spectators: 7437 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 153) Gebze's Feyyaz Deveci started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Gebze's zone, Yetkiner Özcebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverre Robert came out of the goal and Yetkiner Özcebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Yetkiner Özcebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sverre Robert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müfit User in the 16th minute of play forced Gebze's goalkeeper Sverre Robert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Müfit User managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubuk SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müfit User was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gebze's Türkeş Özkok got a free kick in the 27th minute. Yahya Oyalp missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 29 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sverre Robert right hand side. Sverre Robert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müfit User, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverre Robert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkiner Özcebe in the 34th minute of the match. Erdeniz Hizanlı charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erdeniz Hizanlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erdeniz Hizanlı hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Feyyaz Deveci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gebze's supporters rose to their feet, but Feyyaz Deveci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gündüz Erdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute of the match Meriç Bakırcı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sverre Robert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Yetkiner Özcebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverre Robert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gebze defense, Yetkiner Özcebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverre Robert. The Gebze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverre Robert should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the game, Cubuk SK's Müfit User nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverre Robert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Gebze players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cubuk SK were winning 0-3.

In the 54th minute, Feyyaz Deveci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gündüz Erdoğan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Barışcan Akova fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gebze's protests and gave Barışcan Akova a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gebze fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cubuk SK a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yahya Oyalp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gebze's Sverre Robert. 1-4. Alişan Cihanser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gündüz Erdoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gebze booed when Cubuk SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meriç Bakırcı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gebze's zone, Fevzi Ülkümen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverre Robert came out of the goal and Fevzi Ülkümen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cubuk SK's Yetkiner Özcebe got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yetkiner Özcebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sverre Robert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müfit User recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alişan Cihanser kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Müfit User struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Sverre Robert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cubuk SK.
