Angelo Peruzzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Gülce Leyla booed when Büyük Vakıf Spor61 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artaç Keykubad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes, Gülce Leyla's Deniz Baran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gülce Leyla reached it. In the 9th match minute, Gülce Leyla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serkan Dervişoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Orhan Seyfi Togan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Serkan Dervişoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Sabit Hancı hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Serkan Dervişoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gülce Leyla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Büyük Vakıf Spor61 the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Gülce Leyla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serkan Dervişoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Adrianinho Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Peruzzi having to interfere. Gunther Stub blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Peruzzi having to make a save. Büyük Vakıf Spor61's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunther Stub in the 30th minute of play. Gunther Stub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Angelo Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serkan Dervişoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Gülce Leyla's Gunther Stub made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Peruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes Büyük Vakıf Spor61 got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Seyfi Togan. After a defensive mix-up in Büyük Vakıf Spor61's zone, Gunther Stub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Peruzzi came out of the goal and Gunther Stub tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianinho Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Gunther Stub reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelo Peruzzi. The goal made the score 1-5. Adrianinho Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Peruzzi having to interfere. Büyük Vakıf Spor61's Angelo Peruzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Büyük Vakıf Spor61 from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Gunther Stub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eşref Vahapoğlu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Büyük Vakıf Spor61. After 88 minutes of play, Gülce Leyla's Yaser Kaman made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Peruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrianinho Pires took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. The Büyük Vakıf Spor61 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gülce Leyla were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
