The audience thought a goal was coming when Enginalp Muhsin got free with Fazlı Gülerce in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Enginalp Muhsin could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Fazlı Gülerce however easily saved by the left post. Hayrullah Uğursay took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fazlı Gülerce. Fazlı Gülerce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Cezmi Uzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Kutlualp Kutulmuş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fazlı Gülerce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökhun Oyal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
