Sertel Adıvar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nizam Helvacıoğlu went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökçe Kiram during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Bruno Lucchetta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertel Adıvar. Poppy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Lucchetta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sertel Adıvar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nizam Helvacıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Lucchetta in the 22nd minute of play forced Poppy FC's goalkeeper Sertel Adıvar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poppy FC's Sertel Adıvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nizam Helvacıoğlu in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Poppy FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehmet Hakkı Ozan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's players had a chance to rest. Nizam Helvacıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sertel Adıvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nizam Helvacıoğlu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sertel Adıvar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sertel Adıvar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nizam Helvacıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's Mehmet Hakkı Ozan got a free kick in the 39th minute. Bruno Lucchetta might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sertel Adıvar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Lucchetta ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Nizam Helvacıoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertel Adıvar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Veysel Sanat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steevy Cheret in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Lucchetta got free with Sertel Adıvar in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuleli Askeri Lisesi were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Poppy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mehmet Hakkı Ozan took the corner. The corner ended in Mehmet Hakkı Ozan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Poppy FC's Sertel Adıvar did a great save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Qu Ling Lin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's Veysel Sanat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sertel Adıvar was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Nizam Helvacıoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nizam Helvacıoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Lucchetta got free with Sertel Adıvar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Lucchetta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sertel Adıvar made a huge save. In the 78th play minute Nizam Helvacıoğlu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sertel Adıvar. 1-5. Sertel Adıvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Lucchetta in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Poppy FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehmet Hakkı Ozan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Vaklin Dragomirov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Bruno Lucchetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sertel Adıvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nizam Helvacıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's Nizam Helvacıoğlu made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sertel Adıvar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Dylon Chadwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Kuleli Askeri Lisesi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Poppy FC.
