Nurkan Elmastaş started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Hakuna Matata's Hüsnü Ünlü nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hílton Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hílton Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Hakuna Matata's Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin. But to his dismay, Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nurkan Elmastaş kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Milko Kúnchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, F.c. Galatasaray's Nurkan Elmastaş got a free kick in the 19th minute. Tolga Perker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hílton Gaúcho. F.c. Galatasaray's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hílton Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Batı Salman came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the F.c. Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batı Salman couldn't finish the play. A collision led to F.c. Galatasaray getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Válter Novaes hit a great ball. Nurkan Elmastaş received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Söderström came out and tried to block the shot, but Nurkan Elmastaş slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Hakuna Matata's Sami Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hílton Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Vacid Erenoz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Hüsnü Ünlü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, F.c. Galatasaray's Oktay Özkan got a free kick in the 46th minute. Tolga Perker was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüsnü Ünlü to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Nurkan Elmastaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oktay Özkan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, F.c. Galatasaray's goalkeeper Hílton Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin. Joel Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurkan Elmastaş in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, F.c. Galatasaray's Hílton Gaúcho got control of the ball when Sami Aymaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Hakuna Matata's goal looked a bit too open when Nurkan Elmastaş came free, but Joel Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the F.c. Galatasaray defense, Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hílton Gaúcho. The F.c. Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Hüsnü Ünlü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hílton Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Sami Sena made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Gaúcho. F.c. Galatasaray's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Hílton Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsnü Ünlü in the 82nd minute of the match. İsa Tüney hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Hílton Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Sami Aymaz sent off a good shot on target. The F.c. Galatasaray fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hakuna Matata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
