In the 15th minute, F.c. Galatasaray's Nurkan Elmastaş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sancar Koç. Sancar Koç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Marco Eusko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hílton Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Nothing Else Matters's zone, Nurkan Elmastaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sancar Koç came out of the goal and Nurkan Elmastaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batı Salman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Güney Hürkan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sancar Koç. The goal made the score 2-1. Nurkan Elmastaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancar Koç having to interfere. Hílton Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Tankoç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Nothing Else Matters's goal looked a bit too open when Nurkan Elmastaş came free, but Sancar Koç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
