Barışcan Ethem kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ertunc Bahadir's late challenge caught a Konyaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ertunc Bahadir helped the player get up and apologised. Mustafa Anıl Kayacan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by CaPLooNBa's Çağatay Saatçioğlu. But to his dismay, Çağatay Saatçioğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Abdulkerim Buğra made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Donato Nola immediately put the ball in play. Çağatay Saatçioğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Anıl Kayacan having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çağatay Saatçioğlu was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Konyaspor's Bahadır Tuncel threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fulvio Di Francesco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bahadır Tuncel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Di Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Konyaspor getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Abdulkerim Buğra hit a great ball. Çağatay Saatçioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CaPLooNBa's Çağatay Saatçioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samir Yıldızhan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
