The GALATASARAY SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Mudanya's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Sergi came free, but Özbek Vala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gian-Carlo Irizar sped through Mudanya's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Özbek Vala. In the 15th minute, Lorenzo Sergi made a precise shot to the right of Özbek Vala. Mudanya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Lorenzo Sergi sped through Mudanya's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Özbek Vala. Özbek Vala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gian-Carlo Irizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raşit Balkoç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hüseyin Turan Cesman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gian-Carlo Irizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Vala having to interfere. After 62 played minutes GALATASARAY SK got a freekick which was hit by Müjdat Cihanmert. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Cesman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Özbek Vala made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Lorenzo Sergi sent off a good shot on target. Raşit Balkoç struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hüseyin Turan Cesman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mudanya. Hüseyin Turan Cesman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atak Ulus, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Sergi notched a goal, 2-9, to the right of Mudanya's Özbek Vala. Özbek Vala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hüseyin Turan Cesman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raşit Balkoç in the 83rd minute of the match. The GALATASARAY SK fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when GALATASARAY SK's Lorenzo Sergi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as GALATASARAY SK's Gian-Carlo Irizar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Özbek Vala. That made the score 2-11 after 88 minutes of play. Raşit Balkoç scored 3-11 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hüseyin Turan Cesman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Mudanya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ekrem Rakim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Timo Rea scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Özbek Vala who was too lazy, 3-12. GALATASARAY SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
