MardinSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Engin Sağbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ozan Sabir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Engin Sağbilge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okaner Nafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Necip Geylanlar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Engin Sağbilge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ahmet Ozan Sabir might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Engin Sağbilge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. MardinSpor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cevahir Canser in the 48th minute. MardinSpor's Baycan Yiğithan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kerem Yalaza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İlbey Sanih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the MardinSpor defense, Okaner Nafi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Engin Sağbilge. The MardinSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Engin Sağbilge should have stopped the shot. Engin Sağbilge came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by YILDIRIM FK's Necip Geylanlar. But to his dismay, Necip Geylanlar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 62nd match minute, MardinSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baycan Yiğithan to maneuver through the defense. Sarp Kadi kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ahmet Ozan Sabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Engin Sağbilge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Sarp Kadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MardinSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YILDIRIM FK the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necip Geylanlar got free with Engin Sağbilge in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, MardinSpor's Sarp Kadi got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st play minute Okaner Nafi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Engin Sağbilge. 1-6. The MardinSpor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. YILDIRIM FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
