After a defensive mix-up in Arac JK's zone, Cafer Korcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alp Hasanbeyli came out of the goal and Cafer Korcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 minutes, Muharrem Sebih made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Arac JK's Alp Hasanbeyli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Lefter Adal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arac JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gençlerbirliği the free kick. After a rather tough play, Arac JK's Lefter Adal got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alp Hasanbeyli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Rekowski in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 15th minute of play forced Arac JK's goalkeeper Alp Hasanbeyli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Muharrem Sebih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Muharrem Sebih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alp Hasanbeyli having to make a save. Zülfikar Mirac hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muharrem Sebih in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alp Hasanbeyli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Muharrem Sebih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlerbirliği's supporters rose to their feet, but Muharrem Sebih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alp Hasanbeyli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alp Hasanbeyli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Gençlerbirliği defense, Emrah Uzkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Lacalle. Alp Hasanbeyli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muharrem Sebih in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alp Hasanbeyli saved Arac JK from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Muharrem Sebih to strike the kick off in the second half. Alp Hasanbeyli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muharrem Sebih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, Gençlerbirliği was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muharrem Sebih to maneuver through the defense. If Emrah Uzkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muharrem Sebih scored 7-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alp Hasanbeyli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Emrah Uzkan came free, but Marcelino Lacalle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alp Hasanbeyli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantijn Airpoel went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Constantijn Airpoel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alp Hasanbeyli was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
