YILDIRIM FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match Gençlerbirliği got a corner. YILDIRIM FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanislaw Rekowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Constantijn Airpoel advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 9th minute. When Gençlerbirliği's Muharrem Sebih in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YILDIRIM FK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Aleixo in the 12th minute of play forced YILDIRIM FK's goalkeeper Kerem Yalaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kerem Yalaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Aleixo in the 14th minute of play. The Gençlerbirliği fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Gençlerbirliği's Bento Aleixo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kerem Yalaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekrem Yay in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 23rd minute of play forced YILDIRIM FK's goalkeeper Kerem Yalaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Gençlerbirliği were awarded a corner. Stanislaw Rekowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Stanislaw Rekowski made a great header on Gençlerbirliği's corner, it was just that YILDIRIM FK's Kerem Yalaza managed to reach the ball for a save. Kerem Yalaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantijn Airpoel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muharrem Sebih took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kerem Yalaza. Kerem Yalaza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Constantijn Airpoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muharrem Sebih couldn't finish the play. Selami Peyam charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Selami Peyam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Selami Peyam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kerem Yalaza came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Gençlerbirliği's Muharrem Sebih. But to his dismay, Muharrem Sebih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Kerem Yalaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muharrem Sebih, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute Muharrem Sebih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem Yalaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Kerem Yalaza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gençlerbirliği. Selami Peyam kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Gençlerbirliği's Stanislaw Rekowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kerem Yalaza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gençlerbirliği reached it. The YILDIRIM FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gençlerbirliği were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muharrem Sebih was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Gençlerbirliği's Muharrem Sebih slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kerem Yalaza. That made the score 0-6 after 55 minutes of play. After 59 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Kristen Michálek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 61st minute of play forced YILDIRIM FK's goalkeeper Kerem Yalaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Muharrem Sebih got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kerem Yalaza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes in the game, Cafer Korcan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kerem Yalaza having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Muharrem Sebih had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerem Yalaza. YILDIRIM FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muharrem Sebih was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Kerem Yalaza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Constantijn Airpoel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 68 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, YILDIRIM FK's goalkeeper Kerem Yalaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Aleixo. If Muharrem Sebih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, YILDIRIM FK's Kerem Yalaza got control of the ball when Bento Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 81st minute of play forced YILDIRIM FK's goalkeeper Kerem Yalaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Ozan Sabir kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by YILDIRIM FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stanislaw Rekowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Gençlerbirliği's players had a chance to rest. Kerem Yalaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Airpoel in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Bento Aleixo notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of YILDIRIM FK's Kerem Yalaza. Kerem Yalaza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Stanislaw Rekowski hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Gençlerbirliği left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than YILDIRIM FK.
