Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Kristen Michálek in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kılıç SK's Kağan Orhun. The supporters of Gençlerbirliği booed when Kılıç SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziya Onur Akdiken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kılıç SK's Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Kılıç SK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Namık Oğuzkan hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Muharrem Sebih left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gençlerbirliği fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muharrem Sebih in the 15th minute of the match. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muharrem Sebih, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 28th minute, Muharrem Sebih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kılıç SK's Ziya Onur Akdiken got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Bento Aleixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muharrem Sebih in the 37th minute of the match. A very nice done corner allowed Constantijn Airpoel to score against Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen in Kılıç SK's goal. 0-5 after 38 minutes. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Muharrem Sebih made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Kılıç SK's Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Sebih in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Kılıç SK's goal looked a bit too open when Muharrem Sebih came free, but Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Olcay Orkun İlcan made the kick off in the second half. Muharrem Sebih received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen came out and tried to block the shot, but Muharrem Sebih slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaşar Beyhan during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Kılıç SK got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Beyhan. Stanislaw Rekowski struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gençlerbirliği. The crowd rose to their feet as Muharrem Sebih kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen. That made the score 0-8 in the 59 minute of play. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıç SK's Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Aleixo in the 63rd minute of play. Kılıç SK's Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Kılıç SK from getting a goal against them. Bento Aleixo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Yaşar Beyhan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Muharrem Sebih put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Gençlerbirliği's Bento Aleixo. But to his dismay, Bento Aleixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 80 minutes into the match, Kılıç SK's goal looked a bit too open when Muharrem Sebih came free, but Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Constantijn Airpoel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, Gençlerbirliği's Ekrem Yay made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen was left in no man's land by his defense there! From close distance Constantijn Airpoel pressed in the 0-12 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 88 minutes into the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Bento Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlerbirliği's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kılıç SK's zone, Bento Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Oğuz Evirgen came out of the goal and Bento Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gençlerbirliği played a much better game than Kılıç SK and deserved their victory. The Kılıç SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
