Cihangir Çimen's late challenge caught a AdanaDemirSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihangir Çimen helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Cihangir Çimen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cihangir Çimen in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abbas Acarer saved AdanaDemirSpor from getting behind. Abbas Acarer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İskender Baki Özver, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, AdanaDemirSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Baran came free, but Abbas Acarer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çağrı Soysaltürk hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. AdanaDemirSpor's Abbas Acarer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Baran in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, İskender Baki Özver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After a defensive mix-up in Sakaryaspor's zone, Romel Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökcan Sefa came out of the goal and Romel Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romel Gómez in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gökcan Sefa saved Sakaryaspor from getting behind. AdanaDemirSpor's Abbas Acarer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İskender Baki Özver in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of AdanaDemirSpor booed when Sakaryaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okan Özpinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romel Gómez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, AdanaDemirSpor's goalkeeper Abbas Acarer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cihangir Çimen. Abbas Acarer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hayrullah Türegün in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hurşit Baran in the 90th minute of play forced AdanaDemirSpor's goalkeeper Abbas Acarer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Işıkalp Otaç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sakaryaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AdanaDemirSpor the free kick. Çağrı Soysaltürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gökcan Sefa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
