After a rather tough play, Kücükköyspor SK's Yiğitcan Özge got a free kick in the 7th minute. Bican Topay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kubilay Mesut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Bican Topay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Kücükköyspor SK booed when Galatasaray S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyhun Sezer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Sümer Erginer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytekin Baturalp in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bican Topay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kubilay Mesut was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Aytekin Baturalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galatasaray S.K's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kücükköyspor SK's goalkeeper Kubilay Mesut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bican Topay to make the kick off. Kubilay Mesut came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray S.K's Bican Topay. But to his dismay, Bican Topay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bican Topay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bican Topay in the 58th minute of play forced Kücükköyspor SK's goalkeeper Kubilay Mesut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kubilay Mesut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bican Topay in the 63rd minute of play. Ahmet Atay succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 68th match minute, Kücükköyspor SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedir Şen to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Galatasaray S.K's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aytekin Baturalp. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Seyhun Sezer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray S.K's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyhun Sezer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kubilay Mesut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sümer Erginer kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galatasaray S.K fully deserved thier win.
