The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, FC VeLoCiRaPtOr's goal looked a bit too open when Floyd Hinnen came free, but Ahmet Hasan Uskan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke De Leger in the 3rd minute of play forced FC VeLoCiRaPtOr's goalkeeper Ahmet Hasan Uskan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floyd Hinnen charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Floyd Hinnen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Floyd Hinnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ahmet Hasan Uskan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC VeLoCiRaPtOr defense, Floyd Hinnen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Hasan Uskan. The FC VeLoCiRaPtOr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Hasan Uskan should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 56th minute, Luke De Leger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Hasan Uskan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Ahmet Hasan Uskan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Zafir in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yakup İcabi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Hasan Uskan. That made the score 0-7 in the 62 minute of play. Floyd Hinnen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Hasan Uskan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 66 played minutes FC VeLoCiRaPtOr got a freekick which was hit by Emran Ömer. Vahit Tekinalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Hasan Uskan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahit Tekinalp ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Floyd Hinnen got free with Ahmet Hasan Uskan in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Yakup İcabi lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Ahmet Hasan Uskan. 77 minutes into the match, SALURSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Atıf Nesip came free, but Jurand Marczyniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke De Leger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ahmet Hasan Uskan made a huge save. Floyd Hinnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ahmet Hasan Uskan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yakup İcabi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Hasan Uskan came out and tried to block the shot, but Yakup İcabi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 92nd minute.
