Kurtulus's Ali Çağrı Samin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Kurtulus from getting a goal against them. After 33 played minutes Kurtulus got a freekick which was hit by Arif Buğra Kuman. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karadeniz Gariboğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rotary FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vural Çetinay hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Dengiz in the 56th minute of play forced Kurtulus's goalkeeper Ali Çağrı Samin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Rotary FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melih Tunçbilek came free, but Abdi Saygın Yazıcıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rotary FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
