After a rather tough play, Deep Diving Eagles CF's Hüseyin Can Başol got a free kick in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Akcakent's Göktürk Gemici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rasim Işılay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Akcakent's Tanju Derelioğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rasim Işılay. Rasim Işılay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When Hatemi Serkut came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Deep Diving Eagles CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hatemi Serkut couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Deep Diving Eagles CF's Rasim Işılay got control of the ball when Tanju Derelioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Tanju Derelioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasim Işılay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Deep Diving Eagles CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kayhan Sarvan to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Orlo hit a great ball. Nuh Raif took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Refik Halit Egelioğlu. Akcakent's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hatemi Serkut in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Refik Halit Egelioğlu saved Akcakent from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hatemi Serkut was the one to do the kick off. Hatemi Serkut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Refik Halit Egelioğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hatemi Serkuts short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Refik Halit Egelioğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanju Derelioğlu in the 55th minute of play forced Deep Diving Eagles CF's goalkeeper Rasim Işılay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
