Osman Paşa's players were relieved. 6 minutes into the match, Balıkesirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alemdar Azer came free, but Baki Laçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baki Laçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alpay Erenoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Balıkesirspor's Aras Şölen got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Yunus Özbilen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baki Laçin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baki Laçin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Antoniu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Yılmaz Veli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balıkesirspor's Baki Laçin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alpay Erenoz in the 18th minute of play. Baki Laçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alemdar Azer in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong Tian Nan in the 20th minute of play forced Balıkesirspor's goalkeeper Baki Laçin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Gonchan was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Şenel Tuğsavan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Şenel Tuğsavan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Hong Tian Nan took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baki Laçin. Baki Laçin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Răzvan Antoniu to make the kick off. Alpay Erenoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Baki Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Gonchan came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Balıkesirspor's Şenel Tuğsavan. But to his dismay, Şenel Tuğsavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Yılmaz Veli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th match minute, Balıkesirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reşat Koçarslan to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes in the game, Răzvan Antoniu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. Balıkesirspor's Baki Laçin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Balıkesirspor from getting a goal against them. Alemdar Azer might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baki Laçin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alemdar Azer ran back to his position shaking his head. Cirilo Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şenel Tuğsavan in the 93rd minute of play. Osman Paşa's Cirilo Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Pitta in the 97th minute of play. Osman Paşa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
