The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Çağrı Köksal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Hürkan Zevahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuralp Göçer's late challenge caught a REAL AMED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuralp Göçer helped the player get up and apologised. Hürkan Zevahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karhan Tanyeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Murat Selim Cangiray's late challenge caught a REAL AMED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 18th minute Karhan Tanyeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hürkan Zevahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuralp Göçer made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by REAL AMED's Çağrı Köksal. 1-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Karhan Tanyeli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Çağrı Köksal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hürkan Zevahir. ＡＳＹＡ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Çağrı Köksal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, REAL AMED's Çağrı Köksal got a free kick in the 26th minute. Hürkan Zevahir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çağrı Köksal went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Okanay Tarim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökay Beşer in the 42nd minute of play forced REAL AMED's goalkeeper Gökhun Özgulec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ＡＳＹＡ's zone, Şerif Dağhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hürkan Zevahir came out of the goal and Şerif Dağhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Svanström to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, REAL AMED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben De Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Gökay Beşer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gökhun Özgulec skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, REAL AMED's Çağrı Köksal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. REAL AMED's Gökhun Özgulec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Selim Cangiray in the 61st minute of play. Afşin Çağlayan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Özden Mirza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karhan Tanyeli got free with Hürkan Zevahir in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Ivar Svanström could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Hürkan Zevahir however easily saved by the left post. Gökhun Özgulec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özden Mirza in the 74th minute of play. Gökhun Özgulec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özden Mirza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Esat Demirağ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gökhun Özgulec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Ivar Svanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Ali Erdem Andaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
