Erkilet SK's Mehmet Şefik Nesil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Erkilet SK from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Menderes Kahveci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Şefik Nesil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakut Sanal's late challenge caught a Kara Kartal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakut Sanal helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Namık Yalçuk to make the kick off. Hulusi Tüzmen struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Mehmet Şefik Nesil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kara Kartal. The supporters of Kara Kartal booed when Erkilet SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullatif Ulunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menderes Kahveci in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Şefik Nesil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mehmet Şefik Nesil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menderes Kahveci, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mehmet Şefik Nesil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menderes Kahveci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökberk Yetişbey's late challenge caught a Kara Kartal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Menderes Kahveci, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mehmet Şefik Nesil was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Aydın Serdar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vahdet Cengel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahadır Arpacı charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahadır Arpacı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bahadır Arpacı hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mehmet Şefik Nesil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mehmet Şefik Nesil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Menderes Kahveci's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Kielstedt in the 96th minute of play forced Erkilet SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
