Buca İdman Yurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altay Heybetli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 51stth minute of the game Tunç Koytan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buca İdman Yurdu's Özal Pakel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tanju Aytolun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buca İdman Yurdu's Özal Pakel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Andrei in the 81st minute of play. MKE İzmir's Altay Heybetli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save MKE İzmir from getting a goal against them.
