Birlik Spor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sakut Durusoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sakut Durusoy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Birlik Spor's Jeremias Blanquel did a great save. Hami Avşar might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Blanquel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hami Avşar ran back to his position shaking his head. Sakut Durusoy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremias Blanquel. Birlik Spor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Birlik Spor's Jeremias Blanquel got control of the ball when Ufuk Akıncı tried to sneak it across the goal line.
