Tanju Aytolun might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Ferraris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanju Aytolun ran back to his position shaking his head. Özal Pakel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sait Tümen in the 20th minute of the match. Berat İkram hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Mehmet Emin Özguc might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Ferraris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Emin Özguc ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Buca İdman Yurdu's Tanju Aytolun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Comunardo Ferraris. Comunardo Ferraris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After some careless play in the Bandırma Heat defense, Tanju Aytolun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Comunardo Ferraris. The Bandırma Heat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Comunardo Ferraris should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Bandırma Heat's goal looked a bit too open when Berat İkram came free, but Comunardo Ferraris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timur Ünverdi's late challenge caught a Buca İdman Yurdu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timur Ünverdi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bandırma Heat's Timur Ünverdi got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sait Tümen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mehmet Bilge Hicabi fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandırma Heat's protests and gave Mehmet Bilge Hicabi a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 54 played minutes Bandırma Heat got a freekick which was hit by Matěj Mitrović. Tanju Aytolun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Comunardo Ferraris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Bandırma Heat got a freekick which was hit by Cavit Torgay. After 61 minutes, Matěj Mitrović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandırma Heat and the Buca İdman Yurdu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bandırma Heat! Sait Tümen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özal Pakel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Comunardo Ferraris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanju Aytolun in the 68th minute of play. When Sait Tümen came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Bandırma Heat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sait Tümen couldn't finish the play. Sait Tümen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Özal Pakel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Tanju Aytolun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Buca İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Mon Isasaga came free, but Özal Pakel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
