Celil İlhanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baybars İsrafil, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Birlik Spor's zone, Abdi Mehmet Ulusan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Blanquel came out of the goal and Abdi Mehmet Ulusan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denizhan Orun kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Birlik Spor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Baybars Doğa scored to the left of an out of position Jeremias Blanquel, making the score, 1-0. Baybars Doğa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Abdi Mehmet Ulusan came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Babil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdi Mehmet Ulusan couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Blanquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mehmet Ulusan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdi Mehmet Ulusan scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Blanquel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Baybars Doğa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Birlik Spor's Jeremias Blanquel. Jeremias Blanquel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baybars İsrafil in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celil İlhanoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Babil United got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Mehmet Ulusan. In the 72nd minute of the match Gencal Usluer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celil İlhanoğlu skillfully saved the ball. If Abdi Mehmet Ulusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baybars İsrafil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Celil İlhanoğlu made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Korcan Kamil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jeremias Blanquel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denizhan Orun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Celil İlhanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Birlik Spor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Babil United.
