The corner was taken by Yaman Türksan in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Yaman Türksan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ceyhun Uzman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 9 minutes, Ali Atıf Yanık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WQUROS and the MKE İzmir players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes WQUROS got a freekick which was hit by Ali Atıf Yanık. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ergün Tezkan sped through MKE İzmir's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Altay Heybetli. Altay Heybetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergün Tezkan in the 20th minute of the match. Ergün Tezkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Segundo Cesario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WQUROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKE İzmir the free kick. A collision led to WQUROS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Segundo Cesario hit a great ball. Ergün Tezkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Altay Heybetli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ergün Tezkan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MKE İzmir's Altay Heybetli. Altay Heybetli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ceyhun Uzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurtuluş Hiçsönmez in the 42nd minute of the match. Ergün Tezkan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Altay Heybetli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WQUROS. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ergün Tezkan made a kick off. After 59 minutes, Tunç Koytan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKE İzmir and the WQUROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes MKE İzmir got a freekick which was hit by Tunç Koytan. The free kick made by WQUROS's Ergün Tezkan led to a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Altay Heybetli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergün Tezkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKE İzmir's goalkeeper Altay Heybetli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ergün Tezkan in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altay Heybetli saved MKE İzmir from getting behind. WQUROS's Ergün Tezkan got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yaman Türksan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Bonifacio Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vacid Hızır hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
