The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ToRoSS's Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resulhan Toktahan in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Yozgat SK's Piet Bernstorn got control of the ball when Şaban Saraçoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resulhan Toktahan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Resulhan Toktahan scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Yozgat SK's Zülfikar Babaoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Şaban Saraçoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ToRoSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şaban Saraçoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Çelebi Öksüz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Piet Bernstorn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Şaban Saraçoğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Piet Bernstorn could save by the left post. Şaban Saraçoğlus short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Piet Bernstorn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Yozgat SK booed when ToRoSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saffet Berin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazım Yekta during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kazım Yekta hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Şaban Saraçoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ToRoSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şaban Saraçoğlu couldn't finish the play. With 42 minutes on the clock, Kazım Yekta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Piet Bernstorn came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ToRoSS's 龙挺沙. But to his dismay, 龙挺沙 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the game, Faruk Akel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Piet Bernstorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Ignat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Zülfikar Babaoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Faruk Akel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meriç Cansal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ToRoSS's zone, Meriç Cansal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu came out of the goal and Meriç Cansal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Akel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ToRoSS's Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu got control of the ball when Meriç Cansal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remus Ignat took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piet Bernstorn. Piet Bernstorn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Metehan Bucuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zülfikar Babaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yozgat SK's Metehan Bucuk got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Yozgat SK's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Ignat came free, but Piet Bernstorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Yozgat SK's Zülfikar Babaoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faruk Nafiz Ağaoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Zülfikar Babaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yozgat SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
