Stasio Drzewucki kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Hu Jian Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekber Kuluk in the 5th minute of play. Ekber Kuluk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hu Jian Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekber Kuluk, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Yücel Pekşen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Soetemans in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Sinan Tanyeri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC RhK™ and the Fenerbahce ISTANBUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, Filip Soetemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC RhK™ the free kick. Filip Soetemans kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes FC RhK™ got a freekick which was hit by Sinan Tanyeri. Filip Soetemans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yücel Pekşen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yücel Pekşen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Soetemans in the 32nd minute of play. When FC RhK™'s Ekber Kuluk in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Filip Soetemans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Soetemans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekber Kuluk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hu Jian Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancar Baybars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Soetemans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Hafiz Pamiroğlu hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Olgierd Wojtowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sinan Tanyeri made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mehmet Bedri Boğatekin immediately put the ball in play. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Olgierd Wojtowicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sinan Tanyeri in the 60 minute of the game. Pars Ongen kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Filip Soetemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yücel Pekşen. FC RhK™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Soetemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, FC RhK™'s goal looked a bit too open when Filip Soetemans came free, but Yücel Pekşen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Sándor Nagy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC RhK™ booed when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Nagy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes FC RhK™ got a freekick which was hit by Sancar Baybars. In the 87th match minute, FC RhK™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bedri Boğatekin to maneuver through the defense. Hu Jian Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Kuluk in the 90th minute of play. After 95 played minutes FC RhK™ got a freekick which was hit by Sancar Baybars. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC RhK™ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fenerbahce ISTANBUL.
