Filip Soetemans might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolga Zengin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Soetemans ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 3rd minute Filip Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolga Zengin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolga Zengin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, one of FORZA TS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Soetemans in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolga Zengin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolga Zengin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Soetemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FORZA TS's Vahap Aynacıoğlu got a free kick in the 25th minute. FORZA TS's Tolga Zengin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Zweig in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Filip Soetemans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahce ISTANBUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 32 minutes in the game Norbert Leper did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Shen Shi Mo. 36 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Olgierd Wojtowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolga Zengin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filip Soetemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tolga Zengin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enver Ersavaş's late challenge caught a Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enver Ersavaş helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FORZA TS's Enver Ersavaş got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Henriksson in the 43rd minute of play forced FORZA TS's goalkeeper Tolga Zengin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Fenerbahce ISTANBUL were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filip Soetemans was the one to do the kick off. Tolga Zengin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Soetemans in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Fenerbahce ISTANBUL were awarded a corner. Filip Soetemans went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Olgierd Wojtowicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tolga Zengin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olgierd Wojtowicz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Tolga Zengin 53 minutes into the match. Filip Soetemans might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolga Zengin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. FORZA TS's Tolga Zengin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FORZA TS from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Filip Soetemans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tolga Zengin. Tolga Zengin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL made a substitution. Federico Chiesa replaced Sándor Nagy. In the 79th match minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Wojtowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Zengin having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, one of FORZA TS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FORZA TS. Tolga Zengin made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Filip Soetemans sent off a good shot on target.
