Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Mølndal in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinçer Giyas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. René Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Tarkan Ongay, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Vincent Salqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot by Sacit Bala from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Dinçer Giyas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Atilla Tarkan Ongay hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahmi Özerol got free with Dinçer Giyas in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by TeknoBil Erciyes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sacit Bala was slow to take the kick. During this time Derik's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Derik's Dilmen Sargınal got a free kick in the 35th minute. With a little luck, TeknoBil Erciyes's Dinçer Giyas got control of the ball when Rahmi Özerol tried to sneak it across the goal line. René Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emran Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Emran Akgün cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. After 90 played minutes Derik got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Bala. 93 minutes into the match, TeknoBil Erciyes's goal looked a bit too open when Rahmi Özerol came free, but Dinçer Giyas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Salqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Derik's Sacit Bala tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
