Abdulkerim Bir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıkan Akasma, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Tarlabasi SK's Abdullah Mert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdulkerim Bir. Abdulkerim Bir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's Şakir Uğurel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reis Demircan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tarlabasi SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sufi Kurtuluş was slow to take the kick. During this time Nevşehirspor's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the match, Tarlabasi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şakir Uğurel came free, but Reis Demircan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tarlabasi SK reached it. Abdulkerim Bir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıkan Akasma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Sufi Kurtuluş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarlabasi SK's attentive Cumhur Ogün managed to snatch the ball when Orkun Erdurmus made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After 44 minutes, Olcay Geylan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevşehirspor and the Tarlabasi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Olcay Geylan got a free kick in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Nevşehirspor's Abdulkerim Bir got control of the ball when Abdullah Mert tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batıkan Akasma to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Abdullah Mert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Abdulkerim Bir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reis Demircan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şakir Uğurel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Kılıçalp Çerağ made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tarlabasi SK's Egemen Tokyay. In the 65th match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Seyfi Güneş to maneuver through the defense. Batıkan Akasma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkerim Bir having to interfere. Reis Demircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şakir Uğurel in the 73rd minute of the match. Sezgin Tokuş's late challenge caught a Nevşehirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sezgin Tokuş helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tarlabasi SK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sezgin Tokuş hit a great ball. Olcay Geylan made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tarlabasi SK's Egemen Tokyay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdullah Mert in the 79th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Abdulkerim Bir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Cumhur Ogün sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulkerim Bir skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nevşehirspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tarlabasi SK.
