İbrahim Zikri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semen Ryabov having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Aycan Zahir came free, but Frits Lenoir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Danış Esraf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frits Lenoir. Indiana University's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Abdullah Temur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frits Lenoir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frits Lenoir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alarcón Alvarez in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Aycan Zahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Lenoir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Indiana University getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Özalp Haliloğlu hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Thracia59's Ahmet Danış Esraf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frits Lenoir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thracia59 reached it. İbrahim Zikri hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Indiana University's Frits Lenoir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aycan Zahir in the 27th minute of play. Mustafa Kemal Akman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Frits Lenoir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Danış Esraf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Serafin Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Özalp Haliloğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özalp Haliloğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Semen Ryabov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thracia59's Semen Ryabov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Thracia59 from getting a goal against them. Abdullah Temur took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits Lenoir. Frits Lenoir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aycan Zahir made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aycan Zahir got free with Frits Lenoir in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdullah Temur took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits Lenoir. Frits Lenoir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Danış Esraf in the 57th minute of play forced Indiana University's goalkeeper Frits Lenoir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aycan Zahir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Frits Lenoir made a huge save. After 61 played minutes Thracia59 got a freekick which was hit by Abdullah Temur. Thanks to some nice moves Abdullah Temur could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Frits Lenoir however easily saved by the left post. Frits Lenoir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aycan Zahir's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Frits Lenoir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alarcón Alvarez in the 70th minute of the match. When Thracia59's Alarcón Alvarez in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Indiana University's goalie prevented a goal. Thracia59's Hadi Sekib was substituted for Kiko de Queirós. 80 minutes into the game, Thracia59's Aycan Zahir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frits Lenoir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 92 minutes, Görkem Baloğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indiana University and the Thracia59 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Görkem Baloğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Danış Esraf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frits Lenoir. The goal made the score 0-7.
