Oskar Forsberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of ÇANSPOR booed when Indiana University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. But to his dismay, Özalp Haliloğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 61st match minute, ÇANSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuralp Taşan to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Oskar Forsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇANSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indiana University the free kick. The referee gave Indiana University a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Özalp Haliloğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ÇANSPOR's Savaş Tüzer. 3-1. Furkan Kaşif scored 4-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frits Lenoir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Furkan Kaşif got free with Frits Lenoir in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 100th minute, Görkem Baloğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Indiana University fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
