Faruk Nafiz Ulağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güner Özguven in the 4th minute of the match. Güner Özguven's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Faruk Nafiz Ulağ skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Abbas Erten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some careless play in the WAKABAYASHİ FK defense, Güner Özguven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faruk Nafiz Ulağ. The WAKABAYASHİ FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faruk Nafiz Ulağ should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in WAKABAYASHİ FK's zone, Sungur Paşa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faruk Nafiz Ulağ came out of the goal and Sungur Paşa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faruk Nafiz Ulağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güner Özguven in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes WAKABAYASHİ FK got a freekick which was hit by Bulut Korcan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güner Özguven got free with Faruk Nafiz Ulağ in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, ATAKUM FK's Hikmet Tükelay got a free kick in the 24th minute. Faruk Nafiz Ulağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Namal in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Eger notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ATAKUM FK's Mehmet Çağrı Açıker. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st match minute, WAKABAYASHİ FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Eger to maneuver through the defense. Faruk Nafiz Ulağ made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Güner Özguven sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to ATAKUM FK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. But to his dismay, Güner Özguven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, WAKABAYASHİ FK's goalkeeper Faruk Nafiz Ulağ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güner Özguven. In the 42nd minute, Alpertunga Daman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, WAKABAYASHİ FK's Bulut Korcan got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráuzio Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Eger in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemalettin Türkoğlu in the 64th minute of play forced WAKABAYASHİ FK's goalkeeper Faruk Nafiz Ulağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Cemalettin Türkoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faruk Nafiz Ulağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
