The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilias Lazanas during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tuncer Uluberk might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orçun Işıklı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuncer Uluberk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kusadasi's goalkeeper Karl Maubert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind RİNGWORM's goalkeeper Orçun Işıklı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Kusadasi's Ahmet Hayri Hızarcı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orçun Işıklı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonas Granström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Tuncer Uluberk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orçun Işıklı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With an all-out effort, RİNGWORM's Karl Maubert threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kudret Canpolat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karl Maubert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sabahattin Özer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. Atilio Aquino scored 1-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orçun Işıklı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute of the match, Ryszard Pieknik got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl Maubert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Orçun Işıklı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer Uluberk, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Granström in the 39th minute of play forced RİNGWORM's goalkeeper Orçun Işıklı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sungur Yorangil kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of RİNGWORM booed when Kusadasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atakan Kartay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, RİNGWORM's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Granström came free, but Orçun Işıklı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Atilio Aquino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orçun Işıklı was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Karl Maubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kudret Canpolat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuncer Uluberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Addario in the 69th minute of play forced Kusadasi's goalkeeper Karl Maubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Kusadasi got a freekick which was hit by Mürsel Tenzil. Kusadasi's Karl Maubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demiralp Berksoy in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kusadasi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ryszard Pieknik was slow to take the kick. During this time RİNGWORM's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demiralp Berksoy in the 79th minute of play forced Kusadasi's goalkeeper Karl Maubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Maubert came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by RİNGWORM's Ryszard Pieknik. But to his dismay, Ryszard Pieknik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Orçun Işıklı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilio Aquino in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Atilio Aquino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orçun Işıklı was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, RİNGWORM's Demiralp Berksoy got a free kick in the 88th minute. Karl Maubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kudret Canpolat in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Tuncer Uluberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orçun Işıklı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The RİNGWORM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kusadasi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
