The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Ali Asım Yenbu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAYMIŞ SK and the CeNDeRe T.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Ali Asım Yenbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes, Lauder Fulton made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. BAYMIŞ SK's Eustacio Garaile tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Faruk Akbora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Asım Yenbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to CeNDeRe T.K. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Çeliker Tanak hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Nick Nesta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Faruk Akbora skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sun Chang Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAYMIŞ SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sun Chang Yi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Faruk Akbora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sun Chang Yi in the 32nd minute of play forced CeNDeRe T.K.'s goalkeeper Ali Faruk Akbora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Sun Chang Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Faruk Akbora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sun Chang Yi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes CeNDeRe T.K. got a freekick which was hit by Çeliker Tanak. When Kai-Arne Steine fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CeNDeRe T.K.'s protests and gave Kai-Arne Steine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Sun Chang Yi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Faruk Akbora was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sun Chang Yi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Faruk Akbora saved CeNDeRe T.K. from getting behind. Ali Faruk Akbora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sun Chang Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With an all-out effort, BAYMIŞ SK's Ali Faruk Akbora threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sun Chang Yi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sun Chang Yi scored 1-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Faruk Akbora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 played minutes BAYMIŞ SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Asım Yenbu. Çeliker Tanak charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çeliker Tanak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Çeliker Tanak kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Eustacio Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haluk Akmanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sun Chang Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sun Chang Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAYMIŞ SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sun Chang Yi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Faruk Akbora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BAYMIŞ SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
