Hatayspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nafiz Revis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Hatayspor getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Süleyman Aksun hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, El-Azizspor's Güvenç Taşan threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mehmet Arif Baturalp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Güvenç Taşan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Güven in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El-Azizspor's Mehmet Arif Baturalp got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nafiz Revis in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kayhan Yurdaer saved El-Azizspor from getting behind. The corner ended in Baskın Türker almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El-Azizspor's Kayhan Yurdaer did a great save. 37 minutes into the match, Hatayspor's goalkeeper Güvenç Taşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yiğit Güven. After a defensive mix-up in El-Azizspor's zone, Mehmet Akif Civanmert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kayhan Yurdaer came out of the goal and Mehmet Akif Civanmert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kayhan Yurdaer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Acaralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cafer Demirezen made the kick off in the second half. Nafiz Revis in the 50thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kayhan Yurdaer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 51 minutes into the game, İbrahim Ethem Acaralp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kayhan Yurdaer. İbrahim Ethem Acaralp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 54th match minute, El-Azizspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Astrada to maneuver through the defense. Nafiz Revis had several of the El-Azizspor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hatayspor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
