Dušan Vlahović kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, MaviAteşSK's Alessandro Del Piero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Ozan Sağınç in the 47th minute of play forced 67 FENERZONE's goalkeeper Onur Yolaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Ozan Sağınç was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, 67 FENERZONE's Göktürk Semin threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dušan Vlahović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Onur Yolaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytunç Kuter in the 73rd minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Arif Ozan Sağınç heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Onur Yolaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Ozan Sağınç, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mehmet Emin Sönmezalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Göktürk Semin made a huge save. After 85 played minutes MaviAteşSK got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Hedling. 89 minutes into the match, 67 FENERZONE's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Sörman came free, but Onur Yolaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute 67 FENERZONE were awarded a corner. Javiero Mascherano went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of 67 FENERZONE booed when MaviAteşSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Del Piero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dušan Vlahović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Göktürk Semin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MaviAteşSK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
