In the 43rd minute Batista Gabriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Slazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes ERGENEKON got a freekick which was hit by Ola Lund. Edward Slazak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batista Gabriel in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half B-E-Ş-İ-K-T-A-Ş were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of ERGENEKON booed when B-E-Ş-İ-K-T-A-Ş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Gabriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing B-E-Ş-İ-K-T-A-Ş would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
