The audience was convinced that Afşar Üke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selmo Illescas was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Kuzeyin Çocukları FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferman Sadan in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that Yahya Gökçek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Selmo Illescas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hami Eyüp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Atıf Işılay firmly grabbed it by the left post. Selmo Illescas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semih Utku in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
