After a rather tough play, Darıca Gençlerbirliği's Oğuzhan Sarıaslan got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute, Kurtuluş Gelenbe made a precise shot to the right of Konrad Czerniejewski. Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's zone, Kurtuluş Gelenbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Czerniejewski came out of the goal and Kurtuluş Gelenbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 played minutes Darıca Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Carmichael Solomon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Törnblom in the 31st minute of play forced Darıca Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İncili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's goalkeeper Konrad Czerniejewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurtuluş Gelenbe. Krister Törnblom kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Kurtuluş Gelenbe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's Konrad Czerniejewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's Mauro Todor was substituted for Hurşit Rafet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baturay Tarab stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yiğitcan İncili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturay Tarab in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu were awarded a corner. Krister Törnblom went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Ömer Safvetullah to score against Yiğitcan İncili in Darıca Gençlerbirliği's goal. 1-1 after 54 minutes. After a rather tough play, Darıca Gençlerbirliği's Oğuzhan Sarıaslan got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birdal Alyakut in the 63rd minute of play forced Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's goalkeeper Konrad Czerniejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Darıca Gençlerbirliği's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krister Törnblom took the corner. The corner ended in Krister Törnblom almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Darıca Gençlerbirliği's Yiğitcan İncili did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harvey Bowler in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiğitcan İncili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dilmen Timurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Ahmet Danış Dündaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu defense, Birdal Alyakut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konrad Czerniejewski. The Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konrad Czerniejewski should have stopped the shot. Birdal Alyakut scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konrad Czerniejewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
