Kutalp Teksen took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Délio Bu. Délio Bu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's Délio Bu threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oktay Dalga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
